Materials and Tools Donations - please read first

The Huts Association operates on a volunteer basis with very minimal funding, and is always looking for good new or second hand materials and tools that can be used in the maintenance and restoration of huts.

Materials
-Corrugated Iron - particularly aged ( but not rusted ) full sheets of galvanised iron
-Timber - longer lengths - framing timber, hardwood posts or beams, weatherboards, plywood sheets, masonite, cement sheet
-Metal Guttering/downpipes ( unrusted )
-Nails, roofing screws, coach bolts and nuts, hoop iron, fencing wire, dynabolts
-Clay Red Bricks, ( cleaned ), fire bricks
- Window frames - old style - timber
- Perspex sheets ( used in place of glass in some huts )

Tools
Hand Tools - chisels, hammers, brace and bit, saws, axes, rasps, planes, broad axes etc etc
- Brooms, shovel, rake, mattock
- Personal protection equpment ( new only please ) - earplugs, earmuffs, rigger gloves, hardhats, visors, safety goggles
Generators ( working )
Welder
Compressor, framing guns, brad guns
Electric Power Tools ( prefer trade quality ) - drills, circular saw, planers, jig saws, grinders
Drill bits, auger bits, saw blades,
Petrol Tools ( working only ) - chainsaw, brushcutter, petrol power drill, post hole digger
Sawhorses, Portable Workbenches
Ladders, portable scaffolding
Trailers - "offroad "type particularly.

You can either register your donation by replying to this thread, send a personal message, or emailing any the Huts Maintenance Coordinator at hmc@hutsvictoria.org.au
We will get in touch with you to further discuss and if the materials or tools are suitable we can arrange collection or delivery.
